"Great works are performed not by strength, but perseverance." — Thomas Jefferson

Dear Fall Creek Farms Customer,

Throughout my lifetime I have found that the above quote is applicable in many areas. During the past five seasons of farming I have learned that it is the main rule for success.

After evaluating the production and quality of our peaches I have made the decision to not open the orchard this year. This decision comes after thoughtful consideration. As any year of farming goes we experienced the usual variables: late freeze, high winds and lack of water. These variables combined with our newest enemy - DEER – have compounded our problems and left us with little or no produce to sell.

We would like to thank each of you for your support throughout the seasons. We hope you can understand the difficulty and challenges that farmers face annually. Because the love of farming fills my heart, Fall Creek Farms will persevere. We are busy planning our crops for next year.

Check this website for updates as well as articles about farming. As always we will send out e-mails when crops are in season. Again, we thank you for your patronage.

Enjoy local produce,

Cullen Crisp
